An update from the Ministry of Education on the new Kumeu College/HS.
“Work has been ongoing and the Ministry is due to complete its detailed site evaluation process by the end of September. Following that process, commercially sensitive and confidential negotiations may be initiated along with specific site due diligence. We are aware of the site at Waitakere Rd (the old DSIR block next to the show grounds up for sale now) but it does not meet our requirements and we do not intend to pursue it as an option.”
